Vigie GR20 automatically checks the official booking platform for the huts of the Corsica Regional Natural Park, pnr-resa.corsica, and records the state of every night (available, fewer than 5 places, fully booked) for the three accommodation types: hut bed, rental tent, and bivouac with your own tent. The data covers the whole opening season, from the first to the last day published by the Park.

A full reading of the season is taken roughly every 15 minutes. The time of the last successful reading is shown at the top of every page. Between two readings, the displayed state can therefore lag reality by a few minutes — always double-check on pnr-resa.corsica when booking.

No. Vigie GR20 is an independent website, not affiliated with the Corsica Regional Natural Park. It takes no bookings: bookings are only made on pnr-resa.corsica. Vigie GR20 simply displays public availability and alerts you.

You choose huts, accommodation types and a date range. At every reading, if a watched night goes from “fully booked” to “available” or “fewer than 5 places” (a cancellation), you receive an email with a direct link to the official platform. Your address must be confirmed (double opt-in) and every email contains an unsubscribe link. At most one alert per hut, type and night is sent to you per day.

• Book early: July and August are stormed as soon as bookings open in spring.
• Watch for cancellations: spots open up every day, even in peak season — that is exactly what our alerts detect.
• Be flexible: shifting your departure by 2 or 3 days often changes everything — use the season scanner.
• Consider bivouacking: bivouac pitches open up more often than hut beds.
• Book fast: a released spot usually goes within minutes.

Some GR20 stage points have no Park hut: Calenzana (northern start), Castel di Vergio, Vizzavona, E Capannelle and Conca (southern end) offer private accommodation (lodges, hotels) that does not go through pnr-resa.corsica. The planner shows them for information, but Vigie GR20 does not track their availability.

All data comes from the public stock page of pnr-resa.corsica, checked with restraint (a short pause between requests). If the platform is unavailable, Vigie GR20 keeps the last known state and displays its age — no data is ever invented.
